THE BLUE LINE TRIO consists of three seasoned pros who were lucky enough to connect on every level and come up with a highly entertaining act. The band features Gary Gilbert a.k.a. Dr. Fun of “Painkiller” fame, on vocals, guitar, harp and saxazoo. The versatile Reverend Christoper Jordan Knox on bass and vocals and the soft touch beat-master, Timothy Ringo Runkle on the skins. All three have been involved in numerous musical projects for many years. There is a thin blue line that runs through their set list, but besides the old time acoustic blues they also love western swing, gypsy jazz, newgrass and classic folk songs from yesteryear. Note, even though the promo shot looks like they’re gonna kick your ass, their shows are actually big fun and a guaranteed good time.
