Brent Parkin is a veteran of the Winnipeg music scene and has been playing for audiences in Winnipeg and across Canada for well over 40 years. Brent’s music is a mix of Chicago style Blues, Swing, Roots music with some Country and Roots Rock and Roll thrown in for good measure. Brent has played many bars and nightclubs and many concerts and festivals over the years. Numerous appearances at the Winnipeg Folk Festival also made it possible f or Brent to play and share many work shop stages with a lot of great artists.
The Grand Koolios is composed of Chris Nordquist, Tim Hearsey, Rob Becker, Jerry Cook, and Darryl Havers – western Canada’s premiere live performance and session musicians with collective biographies that read like a who’s who of the top blues, country and roots music worlds.
